Blissful HIll Weddings and Events: Fall 2017

Blissful Hill is a new, wedding and special event venue on twenty waterfront acres of the Pedernales Riverfront in the Texas hill country. This property is rich in history—previously Willie Nelson’s Camp Pedernales and Marble Falls ferry crossing dock historical site.

It also features groves of trees, boat-launch and docking, fishing pier, a variety of photo settings, cottages to house wedding party/family, a magnificent outdoor ceremony space, and two story, 3,600 sq ft white barn with dark with exposed wood beams, 6ft chandeliers, white-washed shiplap walls, a cocktail area, patio, bridal dressing area, and grooms lounge; all of which make Blissful Hill the perfect venue to host a wedding or special event.

Cottage signage—Scalloped chalkboard signs adorn the cottage entrances and were hand-lettered with chalk pencils. Spray fixative was applied heavily to protect the lettering from any elements that may reach under the porches.

Directional signage—Signage for building markers and directions to ceremony sites and parking were necessary. To make the signs stand out from the natural surroundings while remaining elegant and charming they were painted white, then lettered using a vinyl stencil and exterior paint.

Outhouse—Outdoor facilities near the cottages/lakeside were fairly unnoticeable so the goal became to make them both visible while keeping with an lakeside wedding feel.

Venue facilities—Blissful Hill renovated/re-purposed a vintage Airstream as their building bathroom/shower facility. Large “romantic” lettering clearly marks each side of the trailer and shiplap, chevron pattern adds character while disguising the unsightly nature of the ADA compliant trailer doors.
