Healthy Obsessions—Paper: April 2018
I’m a giant dork and I friggin’ love paper. I’ve collected paper sample books when I can, adored and shared their designs, I follow paper companies on social media, and have embarrassed friends and family on more than one occasion by stopping to, quite literally, smell and feel the paper.
Using a few outdated paper sample books, new sample paper from Clampitt Paper, and some watercolor paper I had been saving for something special I created a three part book. One direction leads to the center then you flip the book over and read from the back to the center again and at the center lies a pop-up rose. No matter where the reader starts there’s something begging for interaction which, hopefully, makes them fall a little bit in love with my favorite, healthy, obsession.
