BIG bucking wedding: January 2019

With a wedding theme as unique as winter forest meets art nouveau nerd the stationery suite for the Jason & Kristen Kordecki wedding had to be just as weirdly fun and inviting.

Save the date—a geometric heart made to look carved into birch bark and copy set the winter formal yet quirky tone of the event. Small geometric shapes intertwined with the letterforms along with ornamentation incorporated the bride’s love of art nouveau and couples’ love of gaming.

Invitation set—Complete with birch bark, deep reds, forest foliage, and nerd culture references this suite was printed on a deeply textured and soft Neenah Wild card stock for both the watercolor and forest effect. The geometric shapes subtly reference gaming dies—D20, D4, Tetrahedron—with copy that nodded to the many movies and shows loved by the couple.
