The Legacy of postModernism: December 2017

At the end of the Postmodernism + Typography course we were tasked with writing a statement to address what the legacy of POMO is in the field of graphic design? Did designers ever stop being postmodern? Were we really ever postmodern to begin with? If we are not postmodern now, what are we?

To build the argument, we first had to establish and define the current state of graphic design, using text and image references to support our points. Then utilize course readings from the semester to draw parallels or contrasts between postmodern theory and current practices of graphic design.

I chose to create a single page website in postmodern style and hide some eastereggs of postmodernism throughout my design as well as, leave a statement of how the course had changed my thinking.
