Typeface & Poster Design: Mikaela Buck
Working with a 100-year-old wooden "Q" letterform in historic P98a studio, Berlin, inspired a new line of artistic inquiry. The furniture—metal spacers—began to look like letterforms, leading to the continued exploration of a typeface design inspired by time in the workshop. The typeface is still in development but as a visual representation of the process, a series of posters title, Process Makes Progress, were created for the Fall 2025 UMHB Faculty Exhibition.
